In collaboration with Jos Agasi, we studied the impact of humans on the North Sea. Over the course of a month, we conducted research along the Katwijk coast. We interviewed beachgoers about their connection to the sea. In this exhibition, we presented a ‘collage’ of our findings.

VLOED is an interdisciplinary art project in Leiden about the relationship between people and the sea. Artists, writers, and thinkers collaborate to explore and depict this relationship.

VLOED investigates how we can view, think, and speak about the sea and nature differently. The project is based on the idea that art is essential for developing new concepts and new language.
